The Consortium

 
Founded by the Government of the Republic of Hungary. With the history of nearly 10 years. 
Its advisory board consists of professionals appointed by the minister for equal opportunities representing the founders. While realising its professional programs, for the wider social acceptance of disabled politics and based on the principle “'Nothing about disabled people without disabled people”, it cooperates closely with the interest groups and professional organisations, national and international professionals and institutes of the disabled.
 
Its role : leading the consortium
Its task : to establish the National Professional and Methodology Centre
 
Its main goal is the high quality realisation of the employment of disabled people through value creating activities. The non-profit employment scheme they created has to facilitate the integration of the employees and their individual development, at the same time the security of the employment is aided by the quality of the production and services they provide.

Its main purpose has been unchanged since its foundation: to employ employees with altered abilities. Their base activity is still the production of brushes and brooms which is primarily made by the blind by tradition, which is reflected in the company name. Beyond the brushes our company also produces several other live-work intensive precision-mechanical products as well as carries out outsourced assembly, sorting and packaging tasks for their partners.

The biggest state-owned light-industry company in Hungary serves, since 1953, the Hungarian and the international confection and leather industry, but also produces in big quantities mixed-industry products and sports equipment to fulfil local and foreign orders. In the life of the company a significant change happened in 1980, when they received the nomination as the main organisation employing people with altered abilities, which is the characteristic and determiner of the company since then.

Its primary goal is improve the quality of life for people of disadvantaged background and altered abilities. To achieve this they work out services, modern methodological and information-technology solutions which make it easier for disadvantaged people to find work, participate in life-long learning, to improve their skills and mental and physical health.
